A busy weekend of Easter entertainment is in store for music fans in Burnham-On-Sea with more than a dozen bands and groups providing live music.

On Good Friday (March 21st), Ben Fletcher, State of Undress and Three Tuns O’Grass will playing at The Old Pier Tavern in Pier Street from 9pm.

Saturday (March 22nd) sees Cliff Moore, Evolution Project and Fat Spinner performing at The Old Pier from 7.30pm, while Tremor will be in action from 9pm at The Railway Inn in the High Street.

Easter Sunday (March 23rd) sees Ambassadors Of Jazz playing from 2pm at the The Old Pier Tavern, while in the evening Chris Jagger will be in action, along with The Morris Brothers Band and Wilderland from 7.30pm.

Local group The Riverbrew (pictured above) will be playing at The Railway from 9pm on Easter Sunday, providing a mix of contemporary and vintage pop favourites from Robbie Williams to the Bay City Rollers.

This nine piece band will perform a selection of songs, some expected, some less so, using dual lead vocals and a horn section laid over a solid base of seasoned musicians. The last time the group played at The Railway, a fan said on the group’s website afterwards: “We are big fans of live music and after seeing probably hundreds of gigs over the last twenty years, these guys easily rank in my personal top ten, ever. Magnetic, engaging, funny. Above all, absolutely superb musicians.”

The entertainment continues on Bank Holiday Monday (March 24th) with a Rock ‘n’ Roll event at 7.30pm in the Old Pier and Boulevard Swing from 2-5.00pm.
