There will be a departure from the roar of speedway bikes at Highbridge’s Oaktree Arena later this year when it stages a two-day music festival.
The event, called Summerset Live, will take place on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th May.
“The idea of Summerset Live is to show off what brilliant musical talent we have here in the South West, plus helping to support local charities,” organiser Jordan Jones told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“We have hand-picked two local charities that will benefit directly from Summerset Live and any profit that is made from the ticket sales will be split between these charities to help them with their worthy causes.”
“We will also be inviting along a long list of local charities to come and sell their merchandise here at Summerset Live to give them the opportunity to not only raise money for their cause but also to help them raise awareness for their charities.”
