A new professional hair salon has opened for business in Burnham-On-Sea town centre this week.
Chelsea Pearce, 22, has opened Beaux Cheveux in The High Street after receiving start-up funding from a government enterprise scheme.
“I’ve been a hairdresser for the past three years and have also wanted to run my own salon,” she told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“We are the only salon in Burnham to be completely ammonia-free which makes us safer for pregnant women and people with certain medical conditions.”
The salon offers hair cuts for ladies, gents and children alongside perms and other treatments.
“I have have been overhwhelmed with positive feedback and support in our first week,” she said.
An official opening ceremony at the premises, located at 28b The High Street, will be held on Friday February 28th.
