Fire crews tackled a blaze at a block of flats in Burnham-On-Sea this evening (Thursday, July 28th).
Two fire engines were called to Crown Gardens in Oxford Street shortly before 8.30pm, as pictured here, after thick black smoke was seen pouring out of windows and doors.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets to bring the blaze under control.
A fire brigade spokesman at the scene told Burnham-On-Sea.com that no-one had been injured and that an investigation was underway to establish the cause.
