Over 130 runners of all ages took part in Burnham-On-Sea’s autumn aquathlon on Sunday (October 9th).
The adults competed in a 750m swim at Burnham Swim and Sports Academy followed by a 7.5km run along the seafront.
Children took part in ‘splash and dash’ races at Burnham’s pool and in the town’s Manor Gardens, watched by crowds of spectators.
Organiser Martin Rogers, from Burnham Swim and Sports Academy, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The event was a big success, with a great turnout of athletes and some perfect running conditions.”
