A young photographer from Burnham-On-Sea has been named a winner of a local competition.
Homes in Sedgemoor held a photography competition earlier this year to inspire young people to capture moments in and around Sedgemoor.
Ffion Thomas, age 11, won the 7-11 age group with a beautiful floral photo taken in her own garden in Burnham-On-Sea.
Homes in Sedgemoor’s Managing Director, Jen Barfoot, met with the winners to present them with their prize of high street vouchers and handmade cupcakes.
“The standard of entries was extremely high,” said Jen. “It was great to be able to meet the young women who had taken such fantastic photographs. We’re keen to involve as many of our customers as possible, of all ages, in the work of Homes in Sedgemoor, and this is a brilliant way to encourage people to get involved.”
Shannon Haslam, age 14, won the 12-16 age group with a photo of Browne’s Pond in Bridgwater.
