A development of 17 new homes has moved a step closer in Burnham-On-Sea after a deal was reached on planning conditions.
Outline planning permission has been granted for 17 homes at the rear of Burnham’s Tesco store on land that runs along the back of the Rosewood pub, pictured.
Spen Hill Developments applied to Sedgemoor District Council to build the homes and Sedgemoor District Council planners have recently agreed several planning conditions to allow the scheme to continue.
Case officer Stuart Houlet told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The scheme had previously been given outline planning consent but a resolution has now been reached on the conditions. These include the provision of landscaping, public open space and re-siting of the existing cyclepath.”
Plans for the new homes were first revealed by Tesco in 2008, reported here, as part of the store’s expansion proposals.
