A brave Highbridge resident is set to ignore his fear of height by taking part in a 15,000ft skydive for charity this weekend – at the third time.
Tim Daniel from Highbridge will jump out of a plane on Saturday October 22nd to raise awareness and funds for Fibromyalgia Heart of Somerset Support Group.
The sky dive has been postponed twice already due to bad weather – but his fingers are crossed for better conditions this time.
Tim’s mother, Sally, has the condition and helps run the local support group based in Burnham-On-Sea.
Fibromyalgia Heart of Somerset Support Group meets every Monday at the Somerset Skills and Learning Centre, in the mobile unit at the back, in Princess Street, Burnham from 1.30 – 3.30pm. The group is affiliated with Fibro Action UK, a national Fibromyalgia charity.
The jump will help raise funds for Fibromyalgia Heart of Somerset and Fibromyalgia Action UK. Fibromyalgia Action UK not only provides support to sufferers and their families, offers medical information to professionals, but also aims to encourage funding for new research projects.
