One person was taken to hospital with neck injuries following an accident in Burnham-On-Sea this morning (Wednesday, August 10th).
Police and ambulance crews were called to the junction of Queen’s Drive and Stoddens Lane at 10.25am after a collision involving three vehicles.
“A Seat, Citroen and a post van were involved in the incident. The road was closed until around 12 mid-day while emergency services were at the scene,” police spokesman Wayne Baker confirmed to Burnham-On-Sea.com.
Ambulance spokesman Dave Rogers added: “One female person was taken to Weston General Hospital with neck injuries while five other people were checked over at the scene.”
A quantity of fuel spilt over the road had to be removed and the surface cleaned before the road was re-opened.
