Motorists were delayed on the M5 motorway at Burnham-On-Sea on Friday (August 12th) after a trailer toppled over, blocking a lane.
The trailer fell onto its side on the southbound carriageway just a few hundred metres from Burnham’s junction 22.
The Highways Agency attended the incident shortly after 9.15am and the inside lane was briefly closed before the vehicle was pulled onto the hard shoulder, as pictured here. A 50mph speed restriction was in force.
