Burnham firefighters were called out during the early hours of Tuesday (March 25th) to tackle a car blaze.
One fire engine was called to Queen’s Drive at 12.49am by the owner of the vehicle, which was well alight.
“The fire was extinguished using a compressed air foam jet and crews also mopped up an oil leak from the vehicle using environmental pads,” a spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“The vehicle sustained approximately 60 per cent fire damage to the engine compartment. The cause was accidental.”
