Burnham-On-Sea Library is set to hold a calligraphy writing introduction session this month.
The session on Saturday 26th November is aimed at anyone with an interest in learning the art of beautiful writing, from basic Roman letterforms to Gothic and decorated verse.
It will be held form 10.15-12.45 and will cost £12 at Burnham Library.

A spokesman said: “This is a great opportunity to learn a new skill in time for writing those Christmas cards and letters – it’s so much more personal than sending a typed letter or email!”
A training course is also underway and is fully booked.
