The driver of this car was lucky to escape without serious injuries on Friday night (April 4th) after crashing into a ditch on the outskirts of Burnham-On-Sea.
Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to Ham Road, between Berrow and Brent Knoll, shortly after 9.30pm when the vehicle left the road, pictured here.
Crews found the car on its side. The shaken driver had managed to scramble out of the vehicle himself and was treated by ambulance crews at the scene.
There have been several similar accidents along the stretch of road in recent years.
