A new gift shop has opened its doors for business in Burnham-On-Sea on Saturday (November 26th).
John’s Shop has opened at 33 High Street and is run by local businessman John Manning who has similar shops in Cheddar and Weston.
The store sells a wide range of gifts, from Gothic goods to novelties, ornaments and food items.
Staff member Vicky Warren, pictured, said: “We’ve received lots of positive feedback about the gifts we sell and look forward to welcoming customers over the coming weeks.”
“The High Street in Burnham attracts all-year round footfall and is well suited to a business.”
“While we’ve opened in time for Christmas, we are not just a temporary pop-up shop – we are here for good!”
The new shop is open 10am-5pm each day.
