Residents in the Burnham-On-Sea area are being invited to celebrate and sample the best of British food during a special event in Brent Knoll this month.
Sanders Garden World is joining in with British Food Fortnight, which runs from September 17th until October 2nd, by celebrating the range of produce sourced from the UK available in its restaurant.
Peter Burks, general manager of the centre, said: “To show how committed we are in supporting British farmers and producers, we decided to join in with the fortnight.”
“Our restaurant already uses numerous British products and we have devised a special seasonal menu for British Food Fortnight.”
Sanders Garden World will also be handing out free recipe leaflets to customers to encourage them to try and recreate the food in their own homes.
British Food Fortnight is a celebration of the diverse and delicious range of food available in Britain, as well as the health benefits of eating quality, fresh, seasonal and regionally distinct produce.
