A motorcyclist was taken to hospital with back injuries following an accident on the A38 near Burnham-On-Sea on Thursday evening (July 3rd).
Our photo shows police at the scene of the accident, which occurred shortly after 5pm close to the Edithmead motorway roundabout.
It led to the road being blocked for a short time.
Police spokesman Ian Drury told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We were called to an accident involving a moped and a Vauxhall car at 5.09pm. A male cyclist was involved and is believed to have suffered back injuries.”
The rush-hour accident led to long delays for motorists in the area while police and paramedics attended the scene.
