Police have today (Tuesday) named the victim who was killed in a road traffic collision on the A38 near Burnham-On-Sea on Saturday (September 24th).
27 year-old Alice Hicks from Weston-super-Mare was killed in the crash in Biddisham, which occurred shortly before 1.40pm, as Burnham-On-Sea.com reported here.
Police have repeated their appeal for witnesses to the incident to come forward.
A spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “A number of cars were stationary waiting to turn right into Biddisham Lane from the A38.”
“A vehicle came around the corner and went out of control. The car then collided with another vehicle travelling in the opposite direction. A 27 year old woman died as a result of injuries she received in hospital.”
Officers investigating this incident would now like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this collision.
Those with information should call the police’s collision investigation unit on the force’s new non-emergency number, 101.
