Visitors to a Burnham-On-Sea pub will be able to sing along to Christmas carols while enjoying a pint this week.
Burnham’s Wetherspoons pub The Reeds Arms on The Esplanade is holding a Christmas Carols concert on Tuesday 13th December at 4pm, led by Church leaders from Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge.
Local churches in the area have come together along with St Andrew’s School Choir to hold a carol service in the seafront pub.
Rev Sharon Eldergill from St Andrew’s Church told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Working with Wetherspoons, we held a Carol service in the pub last year which was highly enjoyable and very well attended.”
“We are delighted that Wetherspoons have invited us back agin this year for Carols in the Community.”
“The service is relaxed and informal, the bar is open, and hot chocolate, teas and coffee are available to buy.”
“It’s a lovely Christmassy event, to which all are warmly welcomed.”
