Five Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge groups have been handed grant funding boosts by the Town Council this week.
Councillors approved the grant funding applications during their latest meeting.
They include £1,220 for Monarchs Gymnastics Club in Highbridge for soft play equipment.
£260 has been awarded to Sunlight Mental Health Library towards premises rent at the BAY Centre.
£200 will go to Burnham Railway Heritage Group towards the costs of as new display panel.
£350 has been awarded Burnham and Highbridge Choral Society towards sheet music for its upcoming performances.
And £315 will go to Life Education Wessex towards the costs of a mobile classroom and educator for two days.
