An overturned van on the M5 motorway near Burnham-On-Sea caused tailbacks for motorists this morning (Sunday).
Two lanes of the southbound carriageway were shut by police at 9.50am between junction 21 at Weston and junction 22 at Burnham.
Police told Burnham-On-Sea.com that the van driver had not been seriously injured and that no other motorists were hurt. The motorway was not fully opened until after 11am, once the vehicle had been cleared.
