A Burnham-On-Sea man is set to hold a quiz night tonight (Wednesday) in aid of the Royal British Legion as part of a ‘marathon’ fundraising push.
James Warren also intends to run this year’s Edinburgh Marathon on Sunday 25th May when he will be raising cash for the Legion.
“With the 70th Anniversary of the D-Day landings just weeks away I thought this would be a fitting way to raise funds while also raising the profile of the organisation and pay tribute,” he told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
His first fundraising event will be held tonight (May 14th) at Burnham’s Dunstan House Hotel when all will be welcome to go along to get involved.
