-

Hundreds of pounds has been raised in support of the Somerset flood relief efforts by visitors to a garden centre near Burnham-On-Sea.

A raffle held at Brent Knoll’s Sanders Gardenworld in partnership with Burnham Rotary Club has raised over £800.

Tickets were sold during April and May with many prizes donated by local businesses and concessions within the garden centre. Among the top prizes was a gas barbecue donated by Sanders.

Manager Hedley Triggs said: “With many people still unable to return to their homes after the floods on the Somerset Levels, we were pleased to be able to offer our support.”
