Two people had a lucky escape after scrambling out of this upturned car in a water-filled ditch near Burnham-On-Sea on Saturday (November 12th).
Police and ambulance crews were called to Burnham Moor Lane, on the outskirts of Burnham, after the Ford Escort left the road.
Inspector Roger Tolley from Burnham Police confirmed to Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We were called to a car in a ditch at 11.55am.”
“An adult and a child were found by police at the scene and they appeared not to have suffered any serious injuries.”
He said it was not immediately clear what had caused the incident. Police diverted traffic around the spot while emergency and recovery vehicles were on scene.
