Ambulance visit delights Burnham-On-Sea Kingfisher Cubs

-

Burnham-On-Sea Kingfisher Cubs had a surprise visit this week from one of the town’s ambulances to extend their knowledge of first aid.

Advanced Technician Steve Nullmeyers kindly gave up his own time to bring the ambulance to Monday’s pack meeting at the BASC ground.

He gave the cubs a tour of the vehicle and answered the youngsters’ questions and then showed several how to apply first aid bandages.

“We all had a great time, turning the sirens on and off, and some children even experienced being wheeled on the trolley!” Akela of the Cub Pack, Giles Prewett told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“We would like to thank Steve and South Western Ambulance for giving our cubs a memorable experience.”
