Members of Burnham-On-Sea’s Hillview Carnival Club have earned a well-deserved rest after completing the final circuit of the carnival season on Monday night (November 14th).
Hillview’s One Way Ticket entry took part in Weston’s carnival where it achieved a second place in its class.
This cart also won a third place at Bridgwater, a second place in Burnham, a third place in Shepton Mallet, second in Wells and a third place in Glastonbury.
Hillview Chairman Mark Bishop told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “It’s been a wonderful carnival season and everyone is really buoyant.”
“While the results didn’t fully go our way this year, we have had lots of fun and the club is stronger than ever.”
He said Hillview will be holding its AGM in January when newcomers will be welcome to attend – look out for more details on Burnham-On-Sea.com soon.
