Helpers wanted for Burnham-On-Sea beach clean this Saturday

-

Volunteers are being sought for a community beach clean-up in Burnham-On-Sea this Saturday (February 11th).

The event, organised by The Friends of Burnham Beach, will focus on the River Brue.

It will run from 10am-12 mid-day, with volunteers meeting at the entrance to the River Brue by the sailing club.

“The Friends of Burnham Beach are meeting up for the fourth time to dedicate some of their time to clear our beaches of unsightly and harmful litter,” said organiser Mark Hollidge.

“Please come and join us. You may be surprised at how much you will enjoy yourself as well as getting a bit fitter at the same time!”

Equipment will be provided. Children must be 5 years or older and all children must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear appropriate footwear and clothing for the day.
