A new support group for breast cancer sufferers, family and their friends is to launch next month in Burnham-On-Sea.
The first meeting of the group will be held on 7th December in the Somerset and Dorset pub’s upstairs room at 7.30pm.
Organiser Sue Jefferies told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Everybody is different and some breast cancer sufferers just need to talk to someone experiencing the same problems.”
“We are supporters of Breakthrough, but feel there is need for additional independent support.”
All will be welcome to attend and can simply turn up on the night. Attendance will be free of charge, but refreshments and drinks are available from the pub bar.
Subsequent meetings are scheduled for the second Wednesday of each calendar month, starting in January. For further details, contact Sue on 07715308684.
