Burnham-On-Sea fire crew called to vehicle in ditch at Lympsham

A fire crew from Burnham-On-Sea was called to Lympsham on Friday afternoon (October 3rd) after this vehicle left the road and ended up in a ditch.

Police taped off the area and an ambulance was called to the scene near the village’s school.

Fire spokesman Paul Slavin told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “There was concern that someone may have been trapped inside.”

An ambulance crew from Burnham helped to free the lady driver inside the vehicle, who is understood not to have suffered serious injuries.

It came at the end of a busy week for emergency services in the Burnham area following a series of accidents on local roads.
