Cream teas in Burnham-On-Sea raise £300 for St Margaret’s Hospice

-

Cream teas, delicious cakes and hot drinks were available when St Margaret’s Hospice held its summer Cream Tea in Burnham-On-Sea.

The event was held in St Andrew’s Church Hall last Friday and raised an impressive £300 for the hospice.

Local businesses including Morrison’s, Tesco, Asda, Westcroft Eggs and Cricketer Farm donated provisions to help make the event a success.

Spokeswoman Julie Draper told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “A huge thank you goes to everyone who attended the event and a special thank you to our St Margaret’s Hospice volunteers.”
