Two members of Burnham and Highbridge Karate Club are celebrating after winning gold and bronze medals during a top regional tournament.
Becky and Josh Proctor competed in the Western Karate Union invitational competition in Hutton Moor, Weston, on Sunday.
Both competed in fighting and 12 year-old Brown Belt Becky won a gold medal while 8 year-old Purple Belt Josh was awarded Bronze in his category.
Matt Smith, Club Coach, was happy with their achievements and told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Both fought really well and, with the win Josh had in Novemeber, this has been a very successful few weeks for the club.”
