Burnham-On-Sea jetty’s safety has received a safety boost as the summer season officially gets underway.
Contractors working on behalf of Sedgemoor District Council washed and re-painted the distinctive red stripes of the navigation pole at the end of the jetty on Saturday, as pictured here.
Several new safety signs were introduced further up the jetty, along with fluorescent markers, and in recent weeks the painted warning messages on the tarmac have been made for visible.
