A free Garden Party is to be held in Burnham’s Manor Gardens during August.
The team behind the town’s popular Food & Drink Festival, Beverley and Sarah Milner Simonds, right, are organising the brand new event on Sunday 17th August.
“It will be a relaxed, free afternoon for everyone with local food and drink available and live music on the band stand,” Sarah told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“This party is on a much smaller scale than the food festivals. We have invited a dozen local Somerset suppliers who will be bringing cheeses, wines, bread and a few treats to make the perfect picnic in the park.”
“We will have a modern marquee and all visitors need to do is gather some friends and family – and don’t forget your picnic rug.”
“We are looking for local musicians to take a busking spot in the bandstand, providing a laid-back sound track for picnickers.”
