Scouts in the Burnham-On-Sea area are gearing up to provide their popular Christmas post service, which launches shortly.

The 1st Huntspill and Highbridge Scout Group is providing the annual festive delivery service.

“For the cost of 12p per card, the Scout group will deliver Christmas cards to the Burnham-On-Sea, Berrow, Highbridge, East and West Huntspill and Pawlett areas,” explained Paul Burland.

“Post boxes will be situated at Smarts Newsagents, Highbridge News, Asda, Burnham Road Stores, Applegates estate agents, Thomas’ shoe repairers, Rectory Road stores, Lidl in Burnham, the Crown Stores at East Huntspill, the Pawlett Filling Station, Pawlett Village Stores and the Crossways Public House at West Huntspill.”

Cards should be placed into the collection boxes with the correct postage money and the Scout group’s members will deliver them in time for Christmas.

The post boxes will be in place from December 1st and will be collected on Tuesday 18th December.
