Car destroyed in accidental fire near Burnham-On-Sea

-

Burnham-On-Sea fire crews were called to tackle a car fire in the village of Mark on Friday morning (January 6th).

Two fire engines from Burnham were called to Vole Road at 11.38am after a nearby resident spotted a large amount of smoke in the area.

Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire – but it was too late to save the vehicle.

“There was 100% fire damage to the car and the cause was accidential,” a spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
