Green-fingered Burnham-On-Sea group springs into action at Apex Park

-

Christmas may be less than a month away, but Spring was on the minds of a Burnham-On-Sea group on Thursday (November 27th) when its members planted hundreds of bulbs at Apex Wildlife Park.

Green-fingered members of The Friends Of Apex Park were all armed with spades, gloves and trowels as they took part in a day-long planting session, as pictured here.

“We buried the bulbs in various areas of the park and look forward to seeing them all in full bloom in the spring,” Joyce Beard, Chair of the Friends of Apex Park Improvements Group, told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

All of the bulbs were provided by Sedgemoor District Council, along with two staff to help out on the task for a couple of days.
