A new pizza take-away is to open in Burnham’s High Street shortly.
The new business, called Pizza Planet, is to be launched in place of the former Magpie Gifts shop at 63 The High Street, pictured.
The property’s owner, Oktay Akar, has applied to Sedgemoor District Council for ‘Consent to Display An Advertisement’ for a new illuminated sign.
Magpie Gifts closed in October 2009 and the building has been shuttered and empty ever since.
