A unique five-part course focusing on wedding floristry is set to be held in Burnham-On-Sea later this month.
The hands-on ‘Essential Wedding Flowers’ course will give those attending the ability to make a range of popular wedding flower designs, including items such as buttonholes, table decorations and bouquets.
Floristry tutor Lucille Ainsworth told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The course is very suitable for anyone wanting an introduction to floristry techniques or those with a little experience looking to focus on wedding designs.”
“Equipped with a range of basic floristry techniques, creating your own wedding flowers, maybe with the help of family and friends, is very achievable.”
“However, if you intend to use a professional florist, the course also provides knowledge and added personal experience to help crystalize design ideas and assist you in talking them through with the florist of your choice.”
The course begins on 27th January and will run for five weeks on Friday mornings from 10am -12pm at the Burnham Somerset Skills & Learning Centre next to the library in Princess Street. For more information, contact Somerset Skills & Learning on 0845 688 0488 or visit the centre in Princess Street. Early booking is essential.
