Hundreds of colourful entries – from flowers and vegetables to crafts – went on display at Burnham-On-Sea Horticultural Society’s 47th annual show on Saturday (August 9th).
Residents from across the Burnham area displayed their skills at the long-running event, which was held at Burnham Community Centre in Berrow Road.
David Bryant, Show Secretary, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The standard of entries was again very high and, even though there have been some challenging growing conditions with some very changeable weather recently, we still had 300 entries.”
The judges said the quality had again been high despite a difficult growing season. Full results are shown below.
Among the winners was John Alexander, pictured above, who was representing Burnham Dreamscheme’s Community Garden which won several vegetable prizes.
