Hundreds of Harley Davidson motorbikes headed through Burnham-On-Sea on Sunday (April 30th) during a fundraising rally.
A parade of over 300 bikes roared through the High Street on its way to the South Esplanade where they went on display.
Mick Collins, one of the organisers from the Bridgwater Harley Owners Group, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We had a great turnout of over 300 bikes despite the showery weather and thank the people of Burnham for being so welcoming again.”
The event, part of the ‘The Cider Rally’, saw bikers coming from as far afield as mainland Europe. It came to Burnham-On-Sea for a second year, raising funds for the town’s charity, BARB Search & Rescue.
Burnham-On-Sea’s Mayor, Cllr Michael Clarke, chose the bike he would most like to ride home on, pictured above. He said: “There’s been a great turnout of Harleys – they are wonderful to see. The bike I picked is completely original and is wonderfully maintained – my congratulations go to the owner.”
