A Burnham-On-Sea fundraiser has pulled on her walking boots to put her best foot forward for charity.
Annie Vickerstaff has raised over £400 for Burnham-based support group Fibromyalgia Heart of Somerset Support Group.
She set off on her 12-mile walk from outside Burnham Baptist Church, pictured, where she was given plenty of support by the group’s members and friends.
“Fibromyalgia Heart of Somerset Support Group does such excellent work and I wanted to show my support by holding a fundraising event to raise awareness for them as well as funds,” she told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
She completed the walk and the group held a High Tea to raise the sum, which has been gratefully received.
