The work of Highbridge Dreamscheme was featured on a BBC television show on Sunday lunchtime (February 19th).
The group’s community work in the town was shown on BBC1’s Politics Show during a segment about regeneration in the town.
“The TV crew interviewed our Chairman, Margaret Williams, and six of the children to highlight the community work we are doing in Highbridge,” the group’s leader Trish Hart told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
It comes after a busy half-term for the group, who carried out a litter-pick around the town’s Asda store, as pictured here, plus other activities.
On Tuesday, a ‘have your say’ session was also held where the group made a list of the work projects they want to do over the coming months, and what rewards they would like to go on.
