Crowds flocked to Burnham-On-Sea’s Marine Cove gardens on Saturday for a family fun day to mark Somerset Day.
Visitors enjoyed a line-up of live music and entertainment plus children’s activities through the day.
Peter Burridge-Clayton, Chairman of Burnham Events Social Team, which ran the day, said: “The day was a great success.”
“We saw good numbers of people visiting through the day and the mild, dry weather was ideal. There was a lovely family atmosphere.”
The group’s next event is a 80s night at The Ritz Social Club on June 17th. Tickets are available from The Toycupboard, priced £5.
The group will also be running Burnham’s August Bank Holiday fete on 28th August and allocations for stalls are now being taken via email
