Burnham and Highbridge Town Council has launched its new Town Guide this month, which has been arriving through letterboxes over the last fortnight.
8,000 copies of the 2012/13 edition of the new guide have been hand-delivered to all residents in Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge by the youngsters from Burnham’s Hillview Carnival Club.
The new-look guide has been designed by councillors and officers with the help of a third-party company.
“The Town Council is very grateful for the hard work by the committee members and staff, together with the community groups in producing the editorial content. The guide is free and we hope that it will be of interest and help to residents and visitors to know more about local activities, ” Deputy Mayor Ken Smout told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
Further copies can be obtained from the offices at Jaycroft Road and the BIARS information centre on The Esplanade plus libraries in Highbridge and
Burnham-On-Sea. The Town Council gave a donation to Burnham’s Hillview Juvenile Carnival Club for it to deliver the publication.
