Youngsters at a Burnham-On-Sea kindergarten were invited to dress up as their favourite literary characters to celebrate World Book Day and the start of Book Week.
The children at Southleigh Kindergarten in Rectory Road came in the style of their favourite book characters as they listened to a range of popular stories.
A number of books were read throughout the week, including some by the parents. The children all recieved a book token which lets them collect a free book of their choice to encourage further reading.
