Three people have been arrested by Burnham-On-Sea police following the theft of a box of valuables from a garden on Friday (March 9th).
Police were called to a block of flats in Berrow Road at 12.30pm, as pictured, after a box of household items was stolen from outside the property while a family was moving home.
“Three people were seen by a witness running off from the scene,” Sgt Ian Kennett from Burnham Police told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“Two men aged 24 and 25 and a 29-year-old female were subsequently arrested in connection with the investigation.”
He added that one man has been charged with keeping an offensive weapon – understood to be a knife – while a female has been charged with suspected theft.
