Burnham-On-Sea’s Friends of Marine Cove have presented a cheque to the group that runs the town’s seafront information centre following a recent fundraising event.
A pancake flipping fundraiser was held at the gardens on Shrove Tuesday and raised £30 for BIARS (Burnham Information and Rescue Support) and Marine Cove itself.
“This was our first, small local charity fundraising event and was the start of many things to come,” said Marine Cove’s Jacqui Smith.
