More than 30 members of a Burnham-On-Sea group that helps people suffering with learning difficulties have boarded a coach for a summer holiday this week.
Burnham and Highbridge Gateway Club has organised a five-day break to Butlins in Minehead.
“The annual getaway is held every year at this time to give mums, dads and carers a few days break – it’s good for everyone,” said Gateway Club Chairman Arthur Thorogood.
The trip has been financed and supported by donations from Burnham and District Lions, Burnham-On-Sea Moose International, and various small fundraising events throughout the year.
