Final call for entries for 2017 ‘Burnham In Bloom’ competition

-

Businesses and home owners across Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge are being encouraged to enter the town’s annual Burnham In Bloom flower competition, with entries set to close at the end of June.

This year’s competition has sixteen categories for locals to enter, ranging from best front garden to best decorated shop window.

Organiser Dave Perrett, the Chairman of Burnham In Bloom, said: “We are now open for entries – there are lots of different categories for people and businesses to enter, whether they have gardens large or small.”

He said that judging will take place during July. Trophies and certificates will be presented to the best entries in the local competition later in the year – and the entries will also help the town’s entry in the regional Britain in Bloom contest.

Entry forms are available online here and paper copies can be picked up at Burnham-On-Sea’s seafront tourist information centre.
