Colourful Spring flowers are on show at a garden centre near Burnham-On-Sea as it holds its annual Orchid Weekend this weekend (March 24th and 25th).
The President of the South West Orchid Society will be the special guest at the event at Sanders Garden World in Brent Knoll.
Ian Parsons will be attending between 10.30am and 4.30pm on both Saturday and Sunday to give visitors advice and tips on growing the flowers.
During the weekend there will be 10 varieties of orchids on display and free advice on caring for the plants.
Peter Burks, General Manager of the garden centre, said: “We are delighted Ian, who has 40 years’ experience growing orchids, will be on-site to offer expert orchid advice. The event is designed to give people interested in orchids an introduction to the plant.”
