Members of Burnham-On-Sea’s Inner Wheel Club have been busy this week packing shoeboxes full of handmade gifts for needy families in Romania.
The club has knitted a range of handmade hats, scarves, jumpers, cardigans, teddies, handbags and bed socks.
“The items have filled a total of 50 Christmas shoeboxes that have been covered in festive paper and are ready to go to needy families,” a club spokeswoman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
